How can we prepare to embrace a new year without some degree of retrospection?

As we look towards the year 2005, let us not forget the misfortune that ravished our brothers and sisters in the Caribbean Islands.

The efforts of CCOM, under the leadership of Margaret Strachan, in raising funds for the islands and the distribution of said funds to Grenada, Jamaica, Haiti, St Vincent & the Grenadines, and Trinidad & Tobago are commenable

The Barbados Association of Winnipeg, extends sincere greetings to those organizations and their members who strive to make positive and lasting commitment to Caribbean unity in Winnipeg.

We shall continue to be a beacon for Caribbean unity.

May the "true" spirit of unity permeate our motives in the privacy of our minds and in public discussions as we aspire to great accomplishments in 2005.
